How is this different from just... a screenshot of a ticket?
Procyon tickets aren't images. They're a live token that refreshes every 15–30 seconds inside the app — a forwarded screenshot is stale before your friend even opens it.
What stops a host from overbooking or running off with the money?
Every host is a verified student, ticket sell limits are hard-capped in the app, and funds are held until the event actually happens — not released the moment you pay.
What happens if the event gets cancelled?
If it's cancelled outright or credibly misrepresented, refunds are platform-handled. Attendee-side cancellations are host-managed, disclosed upfront at checkout.
Can I give my ticket to a friend if I can't make it?
Yes — gift it from inside the app. Your ticket deactivates, theirs activates. No reselling on WhatsApp Status.
Is this only for my school?
At launch, yes. Verified students only, closed by school. Wider access comes later.
